Teen Titans Go! "Azarath Metrion Bookstore"

The show taking one Titan and teaming them up with a bunch of tertiary characters is getting old. Cat is cute though.
I like Teenage Trigon and College Trigon.
"My butt is possessed!" is why this show is the worst.
I like that Nana calls Raven Rachel.
Not great. 2 1/2 stars.
Teen Titans Go! "The Great Azarathian Face Off"

I'd say the show is starting to run out of ideas, but it ran out of ideas five seasons ago.
I liked the I thought I saw a pudding cat gag though. That was cute. 2 1/2 stars.

I like that Trigon's full name is Trigontholomew. Also that he owns the ThunderCats' Third Earth.
Funny episode. 4 stars.

Yeah, Winnie the Pooh as a horror film is dumb. I don't like the public domain very much.
Surprised there wasn't an appearance by Mickey Mouse. I know he's not a book but still.

Teen Titans Go! "The Ranch"

You know what? Robin being a violently abusive psychopath who hits women is NOT remotely funny.
I liked that they actually used the music cue from The Neverending Story, and it's always cool how the show has nonvoice actors like producers voice themselves, but Robin sucks ass. 1 1/2 stars.

Teen Titans Go! "TV Knight 9"

I love that Gordon knows Batman's identity.
The Tight Hands are giving terrible safety tips, which might be okay for an adult show like Family Guy, but makes me nervous in a kids show.
I love that Robin's room is essentially a hidey hole in the wall. And if he's good, he sometimes gets a Baby Ruth.
Raven's talk show was funny. Mace just wants to talk about his new album!
Funny. 3 1/2 stars.

Teen Titans Go! "Four Hundred"

One of the interesting things about Teen Titans Go! is it is VERY aware of how disliked it is. The idea that it's DC's longest running series is a bad thing. It's an embarrassment really. And it's funny that the show plays that angle up.
Just for the record I bet Kamandi put more effort into his costume than Superboy did.
I loved the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff with Starfire. I think the show should just be stop-motion from here on out.
Those colored hands as the face were a great visual. Never seen a pantomime quite like it. It looked amazing.
David Kaye is more affordable for Superman than Nic Cage.
I really liked it. 4 1/2 stars.
