SDCC is happening as we speak and I've heard some pretty fun announcements (at least for me) out of the DC booth.

The launch of the Absolute line (a separate universe that will have interaction and impact on the main universe storyline) is coming. This is followed up by "All In", the resultant line wide refresh (not a continuity shift or reboot by a new focus much like "Dawn of DC" did this past year) that sets the stage for what is to come in the DCU books. Both of these were previously announced but since everything upcoming somehow ties into this I'm adding for context

**Absolute Flash is the 4th book in the line and will premiere in March 2025.  Written by Jeff Lemire, no confirmation on who this Flash will be.

**Justice League Unlimited by Mark Waid and Dan Mora. This is the return of the Justice League to the DCU. Waid confirms the title is a nod to the animated series and the book will re-introduce the Watchtower and the idea of a rotating cast depending on story removed link  Darkseid will be re-introduced as the Alpha Villain for all of DC as well.  I love what Waid and Mora have been doing on other DC titles recently and I am super excited to get my hands on this when it launches in November

**Justice Society is back and so are the "kids" from Infinity Inc. and the recent Stargirl series.  Excited for this as well.

**Ram V coming off of Detective to launch a new "New Gods" title. Theme will focus on Fatherhood and how that plays out between Apokolips and New Genesis.

** Green Lantern gets a new purpose in "Green Lantern Civil Corps" and the first Elseworlds Green Lantern in the new line with Green Lantern Dark (GL is the last surviving hero on this world)

If anyone has been following Marvel or any of the other publishers (Boom! Studios was bought by Penguin publishing) feel free to post below.

Such a good time to be a comics reader
