OK, The bundle of WW, Batman, Robin, and Aquaman is available from McFarlane direct and from Entertainment Earth but Black Manta is still exclusive to Walmart.
Is this an indication that we may see some expansion of the line into other stores? Or is it a sign that things aren't going well and this may be the end happening sooner than we'd like?
Or is it indicative of nothing at all and being toy people we are just used to coming up with our own theories since toy companies really don't share any information with their customer base?
Yeah, I thought it was strange, too. The bundle was a very welcome development -- I don't much like chasing toys any more. I guess I got out of the habit, and it's annoying to have to trudge around to Walmarts. But it seems like I'll need to do that to get Manta.
How that relates to the health of the line, I don't know. I'd hate to see it go under this soon. It's nice to have it on shelves again, even if tracking it down is a pain. I've been ordering 3-D prints for customs and painting them, which expands the original line and is fun, too. I'd still like to see more waves from McFarlane, though.
New list from an overseas retailer...

This line just seems so all-over-the-place with the repaints and scattershot character choices... I mean, Peacemaker, Judomaster and Vigilante?...
My friend told me to stop quoting the Monkees. I thought she was joking. But then I saw her face.
I'm guessing they are in response to the HBO Max show that was popular, and they are only coming out now because of all the natural lags in toy planning and production but, YES, I get your point and agree
From the list I am inclined to get:
Peacemaker, Judomaster, Vigilante 3 pack
Reverse Flash
Thomas Wayne Batman.
All of the repaints are a wait-and-see. Guess I'm not "all in" on this line anymore and chances are, many others aren't either meaning this will be dead before it gets too deep
I do have to kind of give them a pass with Vigilante since he was planned for the next wave of the vintage line.
My friend told me to stop quoting the Monkees. I thought she was joking. But then I saw her face.
I'll still buy anything that gets released. I won't necessarily pay a premium for it, but if I can get it reasonably, I will.
Black Manta has been spotted on eBay. So far just one auction from a source in Texas (they tend to get things ahead of official release somehow ...) but its a sign we are getting close
Our illustrious leader got the product in hand and posted some pictures on the sites Insta.
Still no listings on Walmart.com that I could find, but if samples are heading out to reviewers it shouldn't be mush longer until we are able to find them.
Got my shipping notice for the bundle from McFarlane.com. Wednesday can't come quick enough.
Also found the Aquaman figure on Walmart.com, but from 3rd party vendors.

Package was delivered today and I think I like Robin the most of the new wave. His head is a bit too square in my opinion, but overall a really well done figure. Aquaman looks a bit too cartoony, and feels slightly off from the rest. Batman and Wonder Woman repaints are fine, but nothing special
Argh. My shipment was sent last week, and was originally scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Then I got a notice it was early! Yay! But it's not here and tracking says it's still in another city. So I think we're back to tomorrow again. Although it could show up tonight, I guess -- that would be seriously inconvenient and expose my purchase to my wife's scrutiny, which means that's probably what will happen. I work from home and she doesn't, so normally I can discreetly accept toy deliveries.
"What did you buy now?"
nothing ...
"how much did it cost?"
would you believe all this was $25?....
I remember those days. Maybe it will be delivered while you are "taking out the trash" or "cleaning the lawnmower" and you can sneak them in after the "chores" are done.
We really are just big children, aren't we?
Found links today for the new wave on Walmart.com

Aquaman and Wonder Woman are both listed from 3rd party sellers at "collector" prices so I'm not bothering with those links.
No vehicles from the new wave yet though.
I also found listings for wave 5 (which hadn't been announced yet to the best of my recollection)

Love the Whirly Bat but a whole wave of repaints???
I do not see longevity in this line for me if the repaints continue this heavily. Give me at least 1 new character in a wave. AT LEAST 1. Too many characters we never got in the previous run for this run to be so repaint heavy in my opinion
