I'm going to guess that this ride isn't in 616 MCU continuity based on the ride-through I've posted below (and because Mission: Breakout at California Adventure is said not to be, either) since there isn't a nice, neat place for this to be dropped into the timeline. It is impressive because in addition to the regular cast it also includes Glenn Close as Nova Prime and adds Terry Crews as a new character, Centurion Tal Marik.  The ride has six different ride profiles, each with it's own "awesome" song ("September" by Earth, Wind and Fire, "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps, "One Way or Another" by Blondie, "I Ran (So Far Away)" by A Flock of Seagulls, "Conga" by Gloria Estefan and the one featured below "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears).  Tyler Bates also scored over two hours of new music for the ride.  What strikes me is that the video below is almost 30 minutes long with about 3 minutes being the actual ride and the rest being the queue pre-show.  It's nice that they've got a story explaining the ride and it is something to keep the park goers entertained while waiting but... wow...  The amount of open space in the queue area is amazing and the transporter effect must really be impressive in-person.  Online stories about the ride's development have always mentioned budget cut and, it seems, there were twelve animatronics cut from the ride which would have probably made things a bit more immersive than what is seen below...

My friend told me to stop quoting the Monkees. I thought she was joking. But then I saw her face.

Guess Ohio Players' "Love Rollercoaster" can be added to Peter's playlist...
