Sorry to disappoint, but that is a previously released version of Metallo. I forget exactly which pack it came in, but I've got one on the shelf right now and haven't seen the new Light-ups in stores yet.
I'm glad they are still putting out items and trying new features, but I'd love it if they were actually releasing any new characters. Itching to keep building my Imaginext DCU. This is truly my favorite DC line ever.

Oh, well... that's a big part of why I don't follow too close... I'm not after every variant and new releases are either one per year (it seems) or a couple dozen at once...
I did find a couple of videos about upcoming DC and Lightyear sets...

Just found the Superman wave of Slammers on eBay. Price is keeping me from going after them but its good to know they are being released and something to start hunting for.

Looked locally tonight and they had an XL Buzz Lightyear which I don't remember seeing in the aisle display. They also had those crazy transforming heads with figures and a Batcave that I think is a re-pack/re-paint which comes with Joker and some sort of contraption and Flash with the red hamster wheel thing.

I've been seeing the new "Head Shifters" figures at both Target and Walmart locally. They are a fun concept and if I were a kid I would absolutely want them. But since they are all repackaged older figures I'm passing for now.
I have also seen the new Batman Mech and Joker mech at Walmart and more stores have added shelf space for the slammers in the midst of resets. Hopefully that means the Superman wave will hit.

I hope so, I was checking tags last night and couldn't find any (the old ones are in the clearance aisle, now). There's a few of those I want. Too bad mygrodd.com isn't updating, hopefully the codes get out soon.

Local store has the Joker and Batman mechs in-stock now along with a new tray of the Batman/Superman/Batgirl/Batman Beyond/Batwing/Metallo batch of singles but still no new Slammers.
Then there was this on YouTube today...
Some of those color schemes are *YIKES!!!* but Tannenbaum Swamp Thing makes me want to buy...

I'm going to pass on this year's Advent Calendar. No new figures and holiday themed paint decos mean there is nothing in this pack for me.
I'm glad to see they are still putting out new product and keeping the line alive, though. Waiting for the next announcement

Was curious about the Slammers and wondered if maybe the PR photos had any clues so I went to mygrodd.com and was shocked to find it had been updated with the advent calendar news. Was almost 15 months since the last update. Also, the blind bag code list had also been updated with the codes for the Superman sub-set. Seems those will have gray tags. Superman is A, Calvin Ellis is B and Supergirl is C. Now I know how to find two of the four I want if I run across them. Hopefully the rest will be added soon. If anybody finds the other codes or gets them the hard way be sure to post them up here...
