Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "The Jungle / The Flight / Deep Dive"
The Jungle:
Owls are sinister. Chip and Dale are cute. 3 stars.
The Flight:
Interesting idea for a jetpack, although the bottle seemed way too full to be credible (not that any of this is credible).
I also want to give a shout-out to the music on this series. It's kinda weird, spookycool, and funky. 3 stars.
Deep Dive:
The frogs are neat although using them as diving suits strikes me as a little bizarre.
Dale is kind of dumb.
Question: Why would a sunken ship have barrels in it the size of chipmunks? Methinks they got the scale wrong there.
Also cute. This show is diverting enough. 3 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "A Nut You Can't Refuse / Chipmunks Away / Ruff Justice"
A Nut You Can't Refuse:
Chip got mobbed up! 3 1/2 stars.
Chipmunks Away:
I was a little bored with this one. 2 1/2 stars.
Ruff Justice:
Can we call this one CHiPS and Dale? Chip and Dale sure are cute.
Stuffed Panda Bear backpacks aren't actually illegal. But this episode suggests why maybe they should be.
I like putting the kitten app on the phone with the rest of the suckling kittens actually worked.
Funny cartoon. 4 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 1/2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "Dog In The House / Cone Alone / Highway To Hugs"
Dog In The House:
I love that Dale and Pluto love each other. SO cute. 4 stars.
Cone Alone:
Pluto has a puppy! Adorable!
The squirrels are also snuggly.
This show is so cute I almost can't stand it. 4 stars.
Highway To Hugs:
Interesting that the people on this show seem to be anthropomorphic dogs (A.K.A. "Funny Animals"). 3 stars.
Episode Overall: 4 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "The Hazelnut King / Egg Baby / Mega Muscle Chip"
The Hazelnut King:
Nice digs there. Real swanky. 3 1/2 stars.
Egg Baby:
Okay, so Chip is apparently insane. Good to know. 4 stars.
Mega Muscle Chip:
It's sort of like the Gizmosuit.
I love that Chip and Dale always hug at the end. 3 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 1/2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "Struggling Duckling / Friends Of The Family / Top Dog"
Struggling Duckling:
This cartoon gets a negative review. Why? The joke with the popsicles. I don't care if it's a dumb cartoon. You can't expect me to believe an ice cream truck gathers dirty ice from a lake and instantly sells it as popsicles on a stick that kids pay for... In the middle of winter. I hate crap like that, and I hate having to complain about crap like that. I shouldn't have to. 1 star.
Friends Of The Family:
Chip and Dale are beyond stupid in this cartoon, but it sort of works for them by the end because the spider is unwilling to clobber them. 2 stars.
Top Dog:
Boring. 2 stars.
Episode Overall: 2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "The Ghost / The Imperfect Crime / Nut Soup"
The Ghost:
The ending was weirdly dark. 3 stars.
The Imperfect Crime:
This is essentially Weekend At Bernie's with a puppet. Chip and Dale are a little bit TOO dumb during it. 2 1/2 stars.
Nut Soup:
The music is kinda funky. The ending is kinda gross. 3 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "The Usual Nutspects / An Evening With Clarice / Craft Craze"
The Usual Nutspects:
Kind of bored with this one. 2 stars.
An Evening With Clarice:
The girl chipmunk's name is Clarice? SO cute!
Although if the cartoon was attempting to show why she was a thorn in Chip and Dale's sides, it's an utter failure. I thought everything she did was actually cool. 3 1/2 stars.
Craft Craze:
This hit upon a pet peeve of mine that nobody brings up (but everybody should). I freaking hate sewing! Threading the needle is damn near impossible! It takes me 20 times longer to get the thread in the loop than it does to sew the object! How is it this is STILL the process? After tens of thousands of years of human civilization, how is it nobody's come up with an easier and better way to sew? We have iPhones and KFC Famous Bowls, but STILL sewing is impossible for newbs? Why is that exactly? 4 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 1/2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale Park Life "Too Late To Hibernate / Sorry, Nut Sorry / Never Trust A Sausage"
Too Late To Hibernate:
The problem with the cartoons not having dialogue is that it sometimes makes them hard to understand. I was confused by that. 2 stars.
Sorry, Nut Sorry:
I thought how they did the reveal of Chip realizing Dale knew he tricked him was absolutely brilliant.
It's also funny that Chip and Dale are unaware of the actual value and scarcity of paperclips. But it means Clarice won the episode (as she should have). 4 stars.
Never Trust A Sausage:
Another cartoon that confused me because of the lack of dialogue. 2 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 stars.
Chip 'N" Dale: Park Life "Night Of The Pizza Moon / Who's Your Granny? / Summer Sidekick"
Night Of The Pizza Moon:
I like that the pizza thief was one of the Beagle Boys.
Cute. 4 stars.
Who's Your Granny?:
Didn't get this one. 2 1/2 stars.
Summer Sidekick:
Didn't get this one either but the cat chasing the "laser pointer" was funny. 3 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Part Life "Delivery Duck / Dark In The Park / Choppin' Dale"
Delivery Duck:
Donald! It's clear once the producers got the go-ahead for Donald, they just went for broke and put him in all three cartoons.
This is the first Chip and Dale cartoon I felt sorry for and was rooting for Donald but this show is weird.
About time! 4 stars.
Dark In The Park:
More Donald's dirtbag speed.
Obviously this show couldn't afford Tony Anselmo.
Donald speaking gibberish for international audiences is okay because I can barely understand him when he speaks English.
The ketchup on the window moment was horrific. I've noticed this show doesn't shy away from those moments.
Long overdue. 4 stars.
Choppin' Dale:
It's weird, but I don't think any of these three cartoons were in continuity with each other. I guess that's okay because of the funny animal cartoon premise, but it's a little odd to me that the chipmunks are practically meeting and dealing with Donald for the first time three times in the same episode.
I'll take Donald any way I can't get him, sloppy continuity or not. 4 stars.
Episode Overall: 4 stars.

Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "The Martian Chipmunks / Two And A Half Chipmunks / Koi Ride"
Gyro Gearloose cameo. More on-brand for that character than the DuckTales 2017 version at any rate. 3 stars.
Two And A Half Chipmunks
Okay, that was a weird cartoon. 2 1/2 stars.
Koi Ride
Also weird. This show is weird. 2 1/2 stars.
Episode Overall: 2 1/2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "Bee My Queen / Minimalism / The Nutcracker"
Something about bees and fascism. This cartoon is very hard to understand without dialogue. That is a failing. 1 star.
Minimalism
Incomprehensible for the same reasons. 1 star.
The Nutcracker
Are my entire reviews for the season going to boil down to me saying "Huh?" The show attempts plots that are too complex and need clarification through words to work. It's impossible to understand instead. 1 star.
Episode Overall: 1 star.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "Cafe Con-Carmage / Miracle Munk / Crime And Poultry"
Kind of a gross scam. It's like Yelp for chipmunks. 3 stars.
Miracle Munk
For the record, it seems like characters legit died several times. Peg-Leg Pete is a menace. 4 stars.
Crime And Poultry
The turkey judge was giving me strong vibes of the Hyperchicken lawyer from Futurama.
I laughed at the muscled, bench-pressing snail convict too. 3 1/2 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 1/2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "Friends In Disguise / Down Memory Lane / Mini Golf Mayhem"
The frogs are both silly and weird. 4 stars.
Down Memory Lane
Donald is still a thing, but ripped Chip and Dale sort of make me throw up in my mouth a little. 3 stars.
Mini Golf Mayhem
Why is Donald kissing the money? Does he have any idea of where it's been? Totally gross.
Also, why is it blue? 2 1/2 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "Artistic Differences / Cruisin' For A Bruisin' / Tap That Sap"
The show is often SO hard for me to understand without dialogue. 1 1/2 stars.
Cruisin' For A Bruisin'
Return of Gyro Gearloose. Also blatant Steamboat Willie reference is blatant. 2 1/2 stars.
Tap That Sap
I don't much like the cartoon but even I can admit that when Chip and Dale hug each other in either joy or terror it's pretty much adorable. 3 stars.
Episode Overall: 2 1/2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "Gift Attack / Beetlemania / Nut My Parcel"
You know what? I HATE "self-improvement" gifts. If somebody gives you a gym membership as a present, really that is nothing but a veiled insult. It should be viewed as such.
Interestingly, it's this premise (among other things) that has led me to believe the Chip and Dale on this show are an actual couple. Sharing a bed is another thing as it the alarming amount of face nuzzling they do. It's sort of cute. 5 stars.
Beetlemania
Weird premise. 3 stars.
Nut My Parcel
Like many of the shorts, it's incomprehensible to me without dialogue. 1 1/2 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 1/2 stars.
ThunderCats Ultimates! Wish List: Safari Joe, Turmagar, Tuska Warrior, Topspinner, Ram-Bam, Cruncher, Red-Eye, Tug-Mug, Driller, Ro-Bear Belle, Ro-Bear Bert, Nayda, Mumm-Rana, Dr. Dometone, Stinger, Captain Bragg & Crowman, Astral Moat Monster, Spidera, Snowmeow, Wolfrat.

Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "The Big Nut Hunt / Beauty And The Butch / Are We Nut Enough?"
That is one funny-lookin' pig.
I am both amused and disturbed that we see several clear shots of his puckered anus.
We sure this show isn't Japanese? 3 stars.
Beauty And The Butch
Not just Pluto appearing, but Butch, and even Fifi too. Some Disney Deep Cuts there. 3 1/2 stars.
Are We Nut Enough?
This adds further fuel to the fire that Chip and Dale are an actual couple on this show.
Initially the awkwardness of the reunion in the animal diner was played sort of like an Indie film. I saw what it was channeling there even if things turned goofy soon enough. 3 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "No Pain, No Nuts / Farm Life / The Apprentices"
I imagine it must be easier to cast actors for Donald Duck when they don't actually have to enunciate real words.
Daisy appears, first in a cutaway indoors (rare) and in a scene with no cartoon animals (unheard of till now).
Cute enough. 4 stars.
Farm Life
The parts that weren't boring were gross. 1 1/2 stars.
The Apprentices
Harmless enough, but that isn't something I was itching to see parodied. I kind of want to forget about it. 2 stars.
Episode Overall: 2 1/2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "Eye Spy / Duck Pluck / Nuts And Dragons"
Once I saw the raven take out the picture of Magica De Spell I sat up and took immediate notice and interest. The character's name wasn't listed in the end credits, but I knew I was gonna check Wikipedia to find out for sure. If the character was named Ratface from the Uncle Scrooge comics, the show is awesome. If he's Mr. Poe / Poe DeSpell from the lousy DuckTales cartoons instead, it's lame. The hat shoulda been the dead giveaway. It's lame.
It kills me that absolutely nobody currently making Disney cartoons is on the same side of the Disney Comics Duck Wars as I am. It is lonely being a Barks and Rosa purist in 2023. 2 stars.
Duck Pluck:
You know what? This was pretty mean and nasty. Also, where did Chip get a cell phone? 1 star.
Nuts And Dragons
Thankfully more cool Middle-Earth / D&D than awful Game Of Thrones. But the grim seeming fake-out deaths were definitely a parody of the third thing. 3 stars.
Episode Overall: 2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "The Summit / The Housesitter / Keep Smiling"
Boring. 2 stars.
The Housesitter
Boring 2 stars.
Keep Smiling
Boring. Are you sensing a theme here? Normally if a show comprised of three cartoons in a single episode does one overarching theme in all three shorts, I'm impressed, but "That was dull as dirt," is not a story premise I demanded, much less one I am happy to see repeated twice more. 2 stars.
Episode Overall: 2 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "Prickly Pair / Dale And Daler / Time Traveler: Part 1"
This made no sense. They are old at the end but then they are not?
I did like the resolution that Dale was only pretending to like the much-hyped cactus and secretly thought it was as sucky as he knew it would be. 2 1/2 stars.
Dale And Daler
It's not just the red nose that you will need to make that guise work, Chip. You will also need a second buck tooth, and for them to be spaced out of the opposite upper sides of the mouth. 2 1/2 stars.
Time Traveler: Part 1
Okay, by the end, that wound up a LOT more comprehensible than it had any right to be. This is not a plot that should be attempted by a show with no dialogue.
But the cliffhanger isn't resolved in the next part? Disney didn't bother putting the conclusion in ANY of the episodes it dropped? That seem like a mistake to anyone else?
Still, points for me being able to follow a complex plot for once. The show almost always sucks at that specific thing. 3 1/2 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 stars.
Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "The Hole Truth / The Gift / Pest Friends"
You know what? That was WAY too dark. Huey, Dewey, and Louie wailing in misery over their Unca Donald being missing and presumed dead? Not cool. At all. 1 star.
The Gift
Also creepy and disturbing. Remember when this show used to be cute? 1 star.
Pest Friends
Donald is portrayed as far too evil in the first half of this. Worse, the episode can't decide if his later repentance is a good thing or not. Messed up cartoon in an entirely messed up episode. 1 star.
Episode Overall: 1 star.

Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life "The Big Sock / Hark! The Squirrel Sings / The Christmas Roast"
I think the Mickey cast was a deliberate nod to "Pluto's Christmas Tree". Fun Fact kids today might not know: "Pluto's Christmas Tree" is actually one of the most famous Disney cartoons in history. It's never cited in best of lists, or as a major part of the studios history, but I would not be surprised if more people have seen it than ANY other Disney short. I grew up the 1980's and I don't know if young people will understand this, but Disney cartoons were scarce back them. You could see compilations on VHS tapes or on the then Premium cable channel The Disney Channel. But back then Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, Caspar, Mighty Mouse, all the big classic cartoons could be either seen in syndication or Saturday morning. Disney hoarded those cartoons instead. I feel a similar level of perplexity in 2023 over how the Beatles estate has hoarded that band's music and made it unaffordable to hear in movies or TV shows, which is how a LOT of young people first hear and connect to classic music. Disney merch was big in the 1980's, but until Disney Television Animation got started with Gummi Bears and Wuzzles, cartoons were scarce.
Once in a while The Wonderful World of Disney aired a compilation of classic shorts. VERY rarely. There were also "Sport Goofy" syndicated specials. But as a rule the only real Disney cartoon shorts we saw with any regularity was that and the Donald Snowball fight one because those two aired every year before "Mickey's Christmas Carol" on NBC. Neither of those shorts made cartoon history. But I would bet money that more people have seen them than EVER saw Steamboat Willie, The Band Concert, Clock Cleaners, or Lonesome Ghosts. So yeah, I appreciate the vibes here. 4 stars.
Hark! The Squirrel Sings:
It's to the episode's credit that the song is not distinctive enough to become an earworm after the fact and stuck in my head. But it's still awful and makes the cartoon unpleasant to watch and listen to. 1 star.
The Christmas Roast:
The show has a real problem being dialogue free. For this short for example I couldn't remotely understand what message they were trying to send the audience by the things shown. Cartoons CAN work without dialogue (see Shaun The Sheep for a great example of that). This show often sucks because it sometimes can't do it. 1 1/2 stars.
Episode Overall: 3 stars.
