Bob's Burgers "Like A Candle In The Gym"
Louise spends the entire episode trying to convince Megan she's gonna get in trouble and she needs to knock it off. And at the 20 minute mark of the episode... Megan decides to delete the video. Not because Louise made any kind of convincing argument or proved she was wrong. But because it's the end of the episode and that's what needed to happen.
That's not good dramatic tension.
Also Linda making baby talk to the baby in the stroller in the shopping cart was beyond creepy. Linda is actually quite creepy in general.
My favorite moment in this otherwise disappointing episode was Tina asking Bob, "What happened, man?" and him responding, "I said I was sorry." It wasn't just a funny moment. I related to both characters for different reasons. It was a very realistic moment, if not one you expect between a father and daughter. It was great.
But the episode's conclusion felt by-the-numbers instead of organic. The happy ending occurred because the episode ended, not because it was earned. 2 stars.

Bob's Burgers "Snackface"
But Tina asking if it's weird that kids like eating things that are awful is a good question. Yeah, it's absolutely true. And considering how much kids bitch about having to eat their vegetables actually makes no fucking sense. Kids are weird.
I love Computer Dave. Although the fact that Bob and Linda are too stupid and lazy to back their files up actually annoys me. It should be a non-issue. Especially dumb since their laptop was on its last legs. Honestly, shit like that makes me dislike both characters a little. I don't why. But it does.
The potential for greatness was quashed via Millie and Bob and Lin stupidity. We are left with okayness. 3 stars.
Bob's Burgers "The Place Behind The Pinecones"
Bob's Burgers is NOT the show you'd think would lend itself to a great Get Out homage, but there it is. I love when the girls are invited to escape at the end, they remind Tina their parents are gonna pick them up. Why didn't the guy from Get Out think of that?
Funny. Also I wanna go to the camp where you DON'T have to stick stones in your mouth. 4 stars.
Bob's Burgers "The Lost City Of Atlantic"
The episode was fun, and in places kind of sad and wistful. Adults adulting. It's good stuff and a good week. 4 1/2 stars.

Bob's Burgers "The Shell Game"
I have to say Inga makes things a LOT harder than they need to be. It's NOT just Mr. Fischoeder responsible for that mess. Not at all.
Lots of good turtle and shell puns. Some of the worse ones were given shade, which I like.
It was pretty funny. 3 1/2 stars.

Bob's Burgers "Wild Steal-ions"
On the other hand it's been awhile since we've seen Teddy, which is weird because Larry Murphy is a series regular. Talk about dropping the ball.
Funniest joke was upon seeing the kids were gone, Bob asks Linda if they should have more. They could use the help. There's a great dad right there.
Fuck Regan and the horse she rode in on. **1/2.

Bob's Burgers "Don't Worry, Be Hoopy"
Gene was even grosser than usual this episode, which is a statement. The marble thing made me want to toss the kid into a cement mixer.
For the record, BOB'S pep talk was MUCH worse and more damaging than Linda's. You expect Linda to say stupid shit. When Bob fumbles basically being a decent parent things have gone sideways.
6 year old Tina is cute, dammit. Okay, one more.
Every time Jimmy Junior opens his mouth I always wonder anew what Tina ever sees in this total zero. Girl can do and deserves better.
Teddy on the bleachers was funny. Teddy has been too absent recently.
I liked it. 3 1/2 stars.
