Minecraft: The Movie

OK, wow.  Was not expecting this to be anything close to what it is actually creating.
Granted, I am not the target audience for this. Never played the game, don't follow the lore, neither do my son or nieces and nephews, so I thought this would be a cute family flick for those that play and I could move on.

Then I started seeing trailers and reaction posts from critics and adults and thought, ugh, this is going to be awful.

Then, the kids started going. And the LOVE it. Absolutely losing their minds love it. Standing ovations and uproarious cheering for Every. Single. Part.

Which is now quickly becoming pandmonium and chaos in the theaters with many theaters now threatening to stop showing the film. Fire Alarms are being pulled. Theaters are being trashed by flying popcorn and soda EN MASSE. Police are being called to control crowds and the mob mentality this is generating.

Minecraft.  Wow.  Who'da thunk it?

Anyone seen it yet?
