This was a bit of a surprise as I couldn't understand what exactly was in the IP that could give us a full season of a program.

Now that I've watched it, I was pleasantly surprised.

They went full on "camp" and Anthony Mackie played it brilliantly. At some point in the show, they were able to mention or show everything that was part of the original game series in a way that made sense in the world the show created. It was a bit long-winded at times, but never dragged. And the season ended on a cliffhanger that very properly sets up a 2nd season which I am excited to see. That is even more of a surprise to be honest

Will Arnett as the voice of Sweet Tooth worked way better than I would've thought possible.

If you have the time, give this a go. Expect to have a bit of campy fun and be very generous with your suspension of disbelief and you'll do well.
