I guess Werewolf by Night will be the next show after She-Hulk then The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, right?...   But then where does that leave Secret Invasion?... That's supposed to be late 2022...  And Wakanda Forever comes in November...  Guess we'll get the trailer for all of those during SDCC...

My friend told me to stop quoting the Monkees. I thought she was joking. But then I saw her face.

I may have to fix this a bit later, the video wasn't very clear on the dates but this is the line-up for Phase 5 and a bit of Phase 6...

Phase 5

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - February 17, 2023

Secret Invasion - Spring 2023

Echo - Summer 2023

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 - May 5, 2023

The Marvels - July 2?, 2023

Loki (Season 2) - Summer 2023

Blade - November 3, 2023

Iron Heart - Fall 2023

Agatha: Coven of Chaos - Winter 2023/24

Captain America: New World Order - May ?, 2024

Daredevil: Born Again - Spring 2024 (18 EPISODES!!!)

Thunderbolts - July ?, 2024

Phase 6

Fantastic Four - November ?, 2024

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty - May 2, 2025

Avengers: Secret Wars - November 7, 2025

There were a lot of dates marked but unnamed for Phase 6 on the timeline but I need more time to make out the dates.  No dates carved out for Spider-Man (yet) and then there is Armor Wars which is the only thing I can think of that's announced but not placed.  Phase 4 through 6 is now known as The Multiverse Saga.

My friend told me to stop quoting the Monkees. I thought she was joking. But then I saw her face.

Lots and lots to unpack here.

With the exception of season 1 of What If?, I left the cartoons off the list.  I mean really, will Spider-Man: Freshmen Year or X-Men '97 be in continuity with anything?  We were told What if? would be, but I have not seen any evidence of that.  Marvel Studios has already said the Captain Carter of Doctor Strange 2 is NOT the Captain Carter of What if.  You can read more about that here: https://www.cbr.com/doctor-strange-2-captain-carter-not-what-if-variant.   Jim, you can add the cartoons if you want.  I have no objections to that.  I just didn't have the gumption to put them on the list.

Deadpool 3 will be be released on February 14th, 2024.  He has an affinity for Valentine's Day.

Even though they're not official yet, Doctor Strange 3, Thor 5 and Eternals 2 are no brainers.

Young Avengers is likewise a no brainer.  The only question is will it be a feature film or a Disney Plus series?

X-Men ... when?  Well, I guess they gotta save something for D23 in September.

So many new characters introduced lately ... The Black Knight, Starfox, Pip, Hercules, Warlock, the High Evolutionary, Namor, Clea ... I'm in Marvel heaven.

Marvel owns the first weekend in May (Well, except when Infinity War and Endgame came out.  Then they owned the last weekend in April).  I mean, they own it.  They have ever since that first Iron Man movie.  Actually, now that I think about it, before that even.  The first Sam Raimi Spider-Man movie came out on that weekend in 2002.  Twenty years ago.  Wow.  Twenty years of owning a weekend.  Incredible.

Daredevil: Born Again has me very, very excited.  18 episodes.  Wouldn't it be great if they got Stephen S. DeKnight back as showrunner?  Born Again was one of the great comic book saga's in Marvel history.  I can't wait to see what Marvel Studios does with it.

Rumor du jour is Marvel Studios has plans for Agents of Shield which would include some of the original cast members.  Chloe Bennet is rumored to return as Quake aka Daisy Johnson.  I'm okay with that.  I would love to see Shield done more like the comics.

Both seasons of The Agent Carter show really needs to be included in the Infinity Saga phases.  I may do some editing.

Okay, that's it.  I'm disappearing again.  Poof!

From the rumors that have made their way to me, Feige and co. will not be making an "X-Men" movie as they feel the name is outdated and mis-representative of the team.

The first movie to feature that pantheon of characters is to be called "The Mutants"

If the rumor mill is to be believed. I'm thinking we will know for sure by D23

So I did some heavy editing.

I added Agent Carter Seasons 1 and 2 to the Infinity Saga.  I know the Marvel Studios brain trust has issues with anything they didn't have a direct hand in producing but we need to be real.  Agent Carter is canon.  We didn't imagine James D'Arcy reprising his role as Jarvis in Endgame.

No, the Sam Raimi and Marc Webb Spider-Man movies aren't going on there.  Yes, Toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield were in No Way Home, but that was multiverse shenanigans.

The Netflix Daredevil Series isn't going on the list until we find out how much of those stories are canon.

I gave the Animated shows their own listing apart from the Infinity Saga and the Multiverse Saga.

There is an untitled Marvel movie coming out on February 16th 2024.  Marvel has had a flag on that date for a long time, and according to a recent tweet by Exhibitor Relations, Marvel still has that date reserved.  That's during Phase 5, between Agatha and Daredevil.  It's only a year and a half away so Marvel needs to get cracking.  No mention was made of this at SDCC.  My guess?  It's Spider-Man 4, and Marvel will let Sony announce it.  We have to be real.  They're not going to let Tom Holland play Spider-Man when he's 40 so if they're going to squeeze another three or four movies out of him they need to get on the stick.

Phases 1-3 are the Infinity Saga.  Phases 4-6 are the Multiverse Saga.  Phases 7-9 ... The Dark Phoenix Saga?

Deadpool 3 will be released on February 14th, 2025.  I can think of nothing more appropriate.

Putting this here because I have no idea which movies/show this would affect first...  Big rumor going around that Thunderbolt Ross has been recast and that the announcement was set to be made at D23 but was held back because the actor has another Disney project on the horizon, a big one for next summer from another of Disney's acquisition divisions...  Shouldn't be too hard to figure out... 😉

Don't know that I'll have time tonight to post the changes in each of the threads so I'm going to post the changes here until I can...

Blade moved to September 6, 2024 (though word has it this is just a place holder move and the movie is "on pause" until a new director and completed script are in place)

Deadpool 3 moved to November 8, 2024

Fantastic Four moved to February 14, 2025

Secret Wars moved to an unspecified date in 2026

My friend told me to stop quoting the Monkees. I thought she was joking. But then I saw her face.

Hopefully Mike will show up and weigh in on this but I saw a story (which I can't find now) saying that the Fox X-Men will be sticking around a little longer, at least through the end of Phase 6 and Avengers: Secret Wars.
