Mattel, seemingly, has created an ongoing Batman specific assortment of basic cars that seems to rotate quickly.  I've found three different mixes in the last two months.  The assortment is like previous years, five different cars (apparently ten in a case, two of each) but it's not one assortment per year like in the past.  The unfortunate thing is that the individual cars are no longer the same price as the normal "dollar" assortment.  They're $2.17 at Walmart and (I believe) $2.49 at Target.  The bottom set with the Harley and Freeze cars was found this morning.

The latest case of Character Cars has three "The Batman" cars (Batman, Selina Kyle and Riddler) and re-issues of the Superman and Wonder Woman action feature cars and a Flash car which I don't know if it's new or not.  The Superman car isn't included in the pic below because I got it in an earlier assortment.

There's also a The Batman Batmobile in the entertainment assortment but I can't find where I put it at the moment.  There's also a The Batman Batmobile and Batcycle  in the 1/50 Batman assortment.

Found some newer Batmobiles....  Kilmer car from Batman Forever has shown up in gloss black and a dull steel color, the Arkham Batmobile is showing up in gloss navy blue and the animated series Batmobile in a deep maroon.  There was another one I found today which isn't a licensed car but is worth noting...  It's under the "Experimotors" label, it's a white Twin Mill with gray stripes from hood to trunk with Braille printed on the sides (driver side says "TWIN" and passenger "MILL"), the undercarriage and the trunk and there is something also on the blister.  The cardback says that it says "68" and "HOT WHEELS" but doesn't specify where.  I haven't had a chance to translate but I'll update when I do.  Kind of surprised that the cardback didn't get the Braille treatment as well...

Jim, that is the car that is made in collaboration with the American Federation of the Blind. I picked one up as a portion of sales of that car go toward the federation.

I noticed the logo after I made that post.  I plan on getting more when I can find them.  The one I have now is going to my "nephew's" husband as he's loosing his sight.

Found the Braille car again, this time in silver.  Also got a Keaton Batmobile (this time with a "The Flash" logo on the card) that is insane...  it's gloss white with a black chassis and graphics, purple windows and metallic purple detailing on the wheels.  It totally shouldn't work but it kinda does...

Found a new assortment of DC cars yesterday at Dollar General.  Superman and Wonder Woman action feature cars (may or may not be new decos, been too long since I've seen the others), Shazam and Aquaman comic based (I'm sure these are old models but new cardbacks, perhaps new decos) and Flash and Batman on Flash movie themed cards (Batman is the cowl shaped car, Flash may be the Justice League movie car but, again, not sure -- where is the Supergirl car?).  I know that the DC assortments are few and far between these days but I'm really surprised there weren't cars for Black Adam (especially with the Justice Society to play with) or Blue Beetle.

The Batman and Robin Batmobile has finally made it to the basic line.  That makes all of the movie Batmobiles in the basic line except for the Batmissle and the one(s) from the Columbia serials, right?...

That's been in the line since '21 but I don't think I've seen more than two since they've started showing up.

Found a new Pop Culture assortment at the grocery last weekend.  Had the original red 1940s Batmobile, Snoopy sitting on top of his doghouse, a 007 car, an orange box truck with a Beatles Hollywood Bowl ticket printed on the side and one other that I cannot remember now...

Also saw part of a new assortment of 1:64 Batmobiles.  The one that struck me was the sedan with Commissioner Gordon's portrait on the door.  The top of the card said 9/20 so I'm guessing that there are four waves of five cars for the year?...

Matchbox, not Hot Wheels on this one...  They've got planes from the Indiana Jones movies in the Sky Busters assortment right now.  Found Jock's biplane from Raiders and Lao Che's air freight from Temple.  Also found an couple of new SpaceX pieces so I left the grocery $20 poorer than I'd planned on last night.  There is at least 1 Indy vehicle in the normal basic Matchbox line, too, that I haven't found, yet...  The three-wheeler from the chase scene in Dial of Destiny.  There has to be more than just that, right?...

...and the car I couldn't remember from the Pop Culture case was from Gran Turismo 7.
