Transformers: Bumblebee: Cyberverse Adventures "The Immobilizers"

Spoiler

I like Tripticon reimagined as a cheerfully mundane office boss.

I laughed at the Witwicky page bit.

The Dinobot Combiner was pretty cool.

Neat! 4 stars.

Transformers: Bumblebee: Cyberverse Adventures "The Perfect Decepticon"

Spoiler

I was very satisfied with that, especially compared to the lousy season three finale.

Transformers is not a franchise brimming with good series finales. Outside of Prime and weirdly Prime Wars Trilogy, I haven't like any others until now. But Cyberverse had a better ending than War For Cybertron Trilogy, Animated, or Robots In Disguise.

I love Soundwave's redemption arc. His sacrifice was great, especially him reprogramming the rogue Decepticons before he made it. When he put on the crown I was "Uh oh," but it turned out to be a selfless action which was the most pleasurable of surprises.

It was also greatly rewarding that Deceptions at the end decided that the treaty should stand, and fought alongside the Autobots. And Shadowstriker being smushed into the group hug at the end was great too.

Maybe if this were a different franchise I'd be more judgmental. But a good Transformers ending is quite rare, so I'll take "Good" and call it a major victory. 5 stars.
